Market Research Analyst

Market research is the engine that drives our business forward. ValGenesis is searching for a qualified market research analyst to research market, regulatory and competitive trends in the life sciences industry.?This individual will understand our business objectives and strategically analyze relevant data to help us improve marketing and sales initiatives. And they'll be able to interpret varying sources of data from across the life sciences industry and communicate findings to our team. ValGenesis is committed to serving our clients and employees, and that starts with understanding market trends and using key data to accelerate our business.

What You'll Do

• Perform quantitative and qualitative research into buyers, users, competitors, and the marketplace

• Conduct in-depth competitive market research & analysis and share insights with the marketing and sales teams on a regular basis. Includes tracking new & emerging competitive trends, analysis of competitors' products, services, and costs. Stay up to date on market trends, product research, and industry best practices.

• Support Account Based Marketing campaigns and conduct research of organizations in potential target markets and strategic customers to Identify whitespace opportunities

• Design, execute and analyze market research surveys.

• Support the marketing operations team in maintaining (data clean-up, analysis projects, etc.).

• Work with product marketing and management to apply insights to strategy development.

• Market research supporting product marketing. Includes research to support messaging and value proposition development, target market identification and analysis and developing analytical models to size target market opportunities (TAM, SAM, SOM).

• Create reports, presentations, and action items based on collected data.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in marketing research, statistics, math, business or related field; MBA or Master's degree in a related field a bonus.

• 3+ years of market research or analytics related experience.

• Must be able to work with limited supervision and be accountable for actions?

• Superior research, analytical and writing skills

• Experience supervising marketing analysts a plus

• Accountable, flexible, driven, dependable

• Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities

• Strong collaborator with experience in cross-functional teams

• Attention to detail and organizationally oriented
