Job Description

The Manager, reports to the Senior Finance Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis and primarily supports key planning cycles like LRP and Plan for all lines of AbbVie?s Non-GAAP income statement. This role will also help in the preparation of Executive Presentations, Board of Director Materials & other ad-hoc analyses requested by leadership. This role will work closely with multiple cross-functional stakeholders within Finance and other members of the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis team.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional Finance stakeholders to drive AbbVie?s LRP/Plan financial cycles. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate reporting, quick consolidation and the build out of reporting packages for management

Assist with producing key analyses for BOD, ELT, Earnings and other management packages

Prepare analyses quantifying the impact of acquisitions on AbbVie?s financial performance throughout the different planning cycles

Support Senior Finance Manager with the consolidation & reporting of AbbVie?s LRP and Plan financial cycles. This includes the development of rollforwards, income statements and other analyses as required by each cycle

Support Senior Finance Manager in process improvements focused on the speed & accuracy of Corporate FP&A?s consolidation by leveraging BPC, Excel, Wdesk and other tools

Work across the Corporate FP&A team to understand the consolidation and reporting requirements of other cycles to implement process improvements for the Plan and LRP cycles

Ad-hoc analysis (e.g. P&L profiles, R&D Analytics, LRP pipeline analyses) as required

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. CPA or MBA a plus.

Minimum 7+ years of progressive and related experience, preferably across a range of Finance functions

Strong attention to detail

Superior communication skills: ability to summarize complex financial analyses in a clear and concise manner

Ability to meet tight deadlines while balancing competing priorities

Ability to work well in a team environment and build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders

Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

Experience with BPC, Power BI, W-Desk a plus
