Maintenance Technician

Parallel Employment is actively seeking a talented and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team!

As a leading staffing agency, we partner with various manufacturing companies to provide essential maintenance support. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that all machines and equipment are functioning effectively and efficiently. This position involves troubleshooting, repairing, and conducting preventive maintenance on production machinery, as well as performing repairs on facility systems when necessary.

Shift: 2nd shift, Monday- Friday 3p-11p

Wage: $22/hr or doe.

• Execute routine and preventive maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, implementing timely repairs.
• Conduct inspections and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems to ensure safety and functionality.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repair work done.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and provide effective solutions.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to improve overall plant efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in a related field is preferred.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in both electrical and mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
