Maintenance Technician

Our client, an industry leading manufacturer is seeking a

Maintenance Technician to join their team! The ideal candidate will have a team work mentality, desire to build new skills and a "can do" attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Columbia, SC

Pay Range: $31.00 - $35.00

What?s the Job?

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.

Perform equipment modifications and rebuilds.

Perform routine maintenance welding and minor fabrication.

Responsible for ensuring equipment is properly maintained in order to manufacture safe, legal and quality product.

Ensure that work areas are clean that Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP?s) are full complied with.

What?s Needed?

High School Diploma or GED required. Technical schooling or diploma preferred

Must demonstrate good communication skills and be able to understand and interpret equipment training manuals and drawings.

Must demonstrate a sense of urgency.

Must possess a solid mechanical aptitude combined with technical training and/or the equivalent in manufacturing experience
