Job Description
- Create and maintain a comprehensive preventive maintenance schedule for all equipment in our facility
- Coordinate repair schedules with maintenance technicians
- Monitor work order backlog, assign work orders, and prioritize tasks to ensure that all equipment is functioning optimally at all times
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for maintenance activities to measure success and identify areas for improvement
- Foster strong relationships with equipment vendors to ensure timely delivery of replacement parts and equipment
- Collaborate with other departments to continuously improve production processes and reduce downtime
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and communicate findings to management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- At least 2 years' experience in a maintenance planning role in an industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery and related repair and maintenance procedures
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a complex schedule
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
