Job Description

New Flyer is looking for a dedicated Machine Operator for our Weekend Shift to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee the operation of manufacturing machinery to produce high-quality components while ensuring production targets are met. Your skills and commitment will contribute significantly to our continuous improvement initiatives and overall operational excellence. Shift: Friday to Sunday, 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM. Competitive pay rates!

Efficiently operate and monitor various types of machinery to produce components.
Perform machine setups, adjustments, and maintenance to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
Conduct regular quality inspections of machined parts and address any deviations immediately.
Maintain accurate records of production volume and quality metrics.
Work collaboratively with your team to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements

Previous experience as a machine operator or similar role, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
Familiarity with interpreting technical documentation, blueprints, and machine specifications.
Skill in operating and troubleshooting machinery.
Strong awareness of safety practices and quality control measures.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Willingness to work a weekend shift and a strong team-oriented attitude.
