About this role
This is a rare opportunity to join the Carrier Franklin team as a direct hire! As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for working with a team in a manufacturing environment. You'll work with your hands, operating machines, and ensuring our products meet high standards?all in a fast-paced, safety-first environment. Whether you're experienced or new to manufacturing, we?ll provide the training and support you need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, maintain and operate machine to ensure minimal downtime and efficient production
Ensure appropriate, accurate documentation of processes
Perform routine and preventative maintenance to equipment
Maintain materials used in production processes
Adhere to all safety requirements and wear appropriate (PPE) Personal Protection Equipment
Recommend improvements consistently striving for efficient and effective methodologies
Maintain departmental quality standards
Other duties as assigned
Shift Requirement
Monday ? Friday, 11:00 p.m. ? 7:00 a.m. with occasional overtime
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Must be at least 18 years of age or older
Must have the ability to bend, stoop, stand, and squat
Ability to stand for 8 hours at a time
Ability to lift items that can weigh up to 35 pounds
Preferred Requirements
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Forklift experience preferred
