Frost Brown Todd LLP, a national law firm with 1000+ legal and business professionals in sixteen offices, is currently searching for a full-time litigation paralegal to join our Louisville office. Candidates should have 3+ years of litigation experience and must be able to juggle multiple time-sensitive assignments. Candidates should also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, business acumen, outstanding attention to detail, and a teamwork focus. Job responsibilities include: Researching and analyzing sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, legal codes, etc. Preparing legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, etc. for review, approval, and use by attorneys. Investigating facts and law of case to determine causes of action and to prepare case accordingly. Filing pleadings with court clerk personally and electronically. Preparing affidavits of documents and maintaining document files. Delivering or directing delivery of subpoenas to witnesses and parties to action. Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree and/or paralegal certificate required. 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Word. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Extraordinary attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Comfortable performing repetitive tasks. Ability to work well under tight deadlines, prioritize, and multi-task when needed. Ability to work individually or in team environment.
