Litigation Counsel

Job Description: O?Melveny is seeking a Litigation Counsel for the Firm?s New York, New York (NYC) Intellectual Property and Technology practice. Lead and supervise the legal representation of national and international clients in complex intellectual property litigation matters, with a particular emphasis on representing clients in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries including litigating under the Hatch-Waxman Act in federal court.

The salary range in NYC for this role is $390,000 - $435,000 and represents the firm?s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting.

Job Requirements: Must be licensed to practice law in New York. Requires a Juris Doctorate (JD) from an ABA accredited law school and 5 years of experience a counsel, associate, attorney, or law clerk in litigation practice with a multinational law firm including 3 years as a licensed attorney representing national and global clients in high-stakes Intellectual Property litigation (seeking damages in excess of $10 million). Regular office presence required. Based on client needs, incidental domestic and/or international travel of up to 10% may be required.
