Litigation Attorney or Shareholder

The Tampa office of Kubicki Draper seeks a Sr. Associate with at least 7 years of insurance defense experience. Must have experience litigating third-party bodily injury claims and handling extensive personal injury claims, including automobile claims, traumatic brain injuries, significant injuries to property or business, and wrongful death claims. Trial experience is strongly desired .

Your Day-to-Day:

• Draft/review and respond to substantive pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Attend/chair hearings, depositions, mediations, and meetings with clients, as well as negotiate settlements

• Must be competent & proficient in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint & Excel
• Communicate in a highly effective manner with team members and clients
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Requirements

• 7+ years of insurance defense litigation experience required
• Trial experience strongly preferred
• Licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing required
• Strong legal research and excellent writing skills, as well as possess strong/persuasive oral advocacy
