The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in all aspects of general commercial litigation including experience with business dispute resolution and torts work. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Strong research, writing skills, and academic record required. A former clerkship is a plus. Experience taking and defending depositions; preparing witnesses for depositions and trial. The ability to independently manage cases is required. Experience handling all phases of discovery, including electronic discovery. Experience drafting pleadings, motions, memoranda of law and briefs; courtroom work (presentation of evidence and legal arguments). Trial experience required. Team player; collaborative approach; highly motivated. Large law firm experience preferred. Work Environment & Physical Demands This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers. Compensation & Benefits The salary range for this position applies to Nevada. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a position. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is $240,000 - $265,000 in Nevada.
