Litigation Associate

Leech Tishman Fuscaldo & Lampl, LLC Inc. is seeking to hire an entry-level a Litigation Associate with an interest 3-5 years of experience in civil and commercial litigation to work in our Pittsburgh Los Angeles (Westwood) office. The position requires significant client contact and the ability to excel when working independently. Excellent Superior client communication, writing, research, computer, and organizational skills are a must. Previous law clerk experience Experience required in drafting initial pleadings, attending conducting depositions, and preparing and responding to written discovery are a plus. discovery, and extensive motions practice. Description: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Involvement in Handling cases from preparing responsive pleadings to trial Propounding and responding to discovery Conducting depositions of plaintiffs, witnesses and experts Attending court hearings Preparing and arguing motions/oppositions Trial preparation Candidate Qualifications Keen interest 3-5 years in civil and commercial litigation Pending J.D. Pending admittance to Pennsylvania Bar Juris Doctorate degree Must be licensed in California Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Word Legal research and technical writing skills, including proficiency with legal research tools Ability to handle complex litigation matters from inception to trial, including preparation of pleadings and briefs, managing discovery and depositions, and conducting legal research, analysis, and writing Familiarity with Experience in both state and federal court proceedings Strong academic and employment credentials Excellent writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills Good interpersonal interaction skills Well-organized Proven track record of performance This position is full-time.
