Responsibilities Mintz is seeking an associate with 2+ years of experience to join our litigation team in Boston with a focus on privacy and cybersecurity. Candidates should have experience working on privacy and cybersecurity matters. Our team represents clients across various industries to help them through complex data privacy and cybersecurity matters in high-profile and cutting-edge investigations, incident response, litigation, regulatory and counseling matters. Our team regularly counsels on data management and technology and product development, including development of AI and related technologies. Applicants should have a comprehensive complex litigation skill set and experience in risk assessment, forensic and government investigations, crisis communications and response, and state and federal regulatory enforcement actions. Responsibilities will include analysis of complex regulatory matters and investigations, advising clients on crisis management and cybersecurity incident response, brief and motion drafting, legal research, running document production, deposition prep, expert discovery and trial practice. Collaboration with team members is an important component of any role at Mintz. Therefore, the firm requires working from the office approximately 60% of the time in accordance with the firm?s published guidelines. Qualifications Graduated with a JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school Must have 2+ years of experience with data and privacy disputes CIPP certification is a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills Professionalism in working and engaging with demanding clients Ability to balance and prioritize competing priorities and responsibilities Ability to stay organized and exercise extreme attention to detail Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings About Mintz Mintz is an Am Law 100 law firm with over 600 attorneys serving clients worldwide.
