Litigation Associate Attorney

Direct Counsel is assisting a leading Northwest regional law firm in seeking Litigation Associates to join their Litigation department in Portland, Oregon , or Seattle, Washington . This role provides an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment while handling diverse and complex litigation matters.

Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in business or commercial litigation, with experience in all phases of the litigation process, from motion practice to trial preparation. The role also includes opportunities to train junior associates and work within the firm's core industry sectors.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• 3+ years of litigation experience, including:
• Drafting and arguing motions.
• Taking and defending depositions.
• Preparing for trials.
• Experience in general business litigation or complex commercial litigation.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong client service orientation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Oregon State Bar admission (Portland) or Washington State Bar admission (Seattle) required, or eligibility for reciprocity.
• Interest in contributing to one or more of the firm's seven key industry sectors.

• Salary range: $155,000$185,000, depending on experience.
• Eligible for discretionary year-end bonuses.
