Line Cook

StaffWerk is currently seeking skilled and experienced Line Cooks to join our dynamic team. As a leading provider of temporary and ongoing staffing in the hospitality industry, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service to our clients. Line Cooks play an essential role in food preparation and cooking, ensuring that meals are prepared to the highest standards.

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, ensuring they are fresh and ready for use.
• Cook and plate a variety of dishes according to specific recipes and quality guidelines.
• Maintain high standards of food presentation and safety.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and timely service.
• Keep kitchen and cooking areas clean, organized, and compliant with food safety regulations.
• Assist in inventory management and stock control.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Line Cook or in a similar culinary role.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food preparation methods.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent multitasking and time management skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Detail-oriented approach to food quality and presentation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with staff.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
