Line Cook

Billy Jack's Shack, a well-known and vibrant bar/restaurant located in NoDa, is looking for a dedicated Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your culinary skills and attention to detail will contribute to the creation of delicious and visually appealing dishes. • Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and quality standards
• Ensure that all dishes are cooked and presented to perfection
• Assist in the development and execution of new menu items
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain cleanliness and organization
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Contribute to a positive and team-oriented work environment

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
• Ability to handle multiple orders and prioritize tasks effectively
• Attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high food quality
• Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and procedures
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
