Billy Jack's Shack, a well-known and vibrant bar/restaurant located in NoDa, is looking for a dedicated Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Responsibilities- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and quality standards
- Ensure that all dishes are cooked and presented to perfection
- Assist in the development and execution of new menu items
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain cleanliness and organization
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Contribute to a positive and team-oriented work environment
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Ability to handle multiple orders and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high food quality
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and procedures
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Benefits
