Licensed Practical Nurse

Delphi Healthcare is currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this nursing role, you will be crucial in providing quality care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, working closely with patients to ensure their comfort and well-being.

• Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications as prescribed.
• Assist with daily living activities, ensuring patients' comfort and safety.
• Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
• Document patient care activities and progress accurately in medical records.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, medications, and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations to maintain patient safety and quality of care.

Requirements

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New York State.
• Completion of a practical nursing program from an accredited institution.
• Previous experience in a clinical or long-term care setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on patient care.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing situations.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
