The LPN will workunder the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality health care servicesto students, ensuring their well-being and promoting a safe and healthy school environment, located in Rochester, NY.

Schedule of theLicensed Practical Nurse:

• This is a Full-time position.

Responsibilities of theLicensed Practical Nurse:

• Assist RNs in providing basic nursing care to students.
• Administer medications under the supervision of an RN.
• Perform basic first aid for minor injuries and illnesses.
• Assist with health screenings and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor students with chronic health conditions.
• Communicate with parents regarding student health concerns.
• Maintain a clean and safe health office environment.
• Assist in implementing individual healthcare plans.
• Support health education initiatives within the school.
• Participate in staff training on health-related topics.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited LPN program.
• Current LPN license in New York State.
• Experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with children and adolescents.
• Good communication skills with students, parents, and staff.
