Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join ouremergency staff in Radcliff, KY. The LPN will provide high-quality nursing care under thedirection of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician, supporting residents' health and well-being while ensuring compliance with clinical and safety protocols.

Schedule of theLicensed Practical Nurse:

• This is a Full-time position.

Responsibilities of theLicensed Practical Nurse:

1. Resident Care:

• Observe and care for ill, injured, or infirm residents within the scope of education and clinical skills.
• Collect nursing assessment data and report findings to supervising RNs or physicians.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, explaining their purposes, dosages, and possible side effects.

2. Medication and Treatment:

• Accept, account for, and manage prescription drugs and relatedparaphernalia.
• Collect, label, and record specimens (sputum, urine, stool) for laboratory analysis.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition, such as skin breakdown, and report as necessary.

3. Supervision and Education:

• Supervise unlicensed assistive personnel in resident care activities.
• Teach and delegate nursing care activities to others.
• Update resident representatives and family members on changes in the resident's condition.

4. Documentation and Communication:

• Accurately document pertinent medical information in residents' clinicalrecords.
• Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and other healthcare team members.
• Report unusual incidents involving staff or residents to the supervisor.

5. Team Collaboration and Emergency Response:

• Participate in emergency drills and respond to facility emergencies.
• Assist medical and other professional staff in providing care.
• Serve as a member of the resident's individual treatment team.

6. Infection Control and Safety:

• Utilize standard infection control procedures at all times.
• Accept assignments in various neighborhoods per shift as necessary to maintain staffing levels.
