Position Overview

We are currently seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility in Lewiston, ME . In this per-diem role, you will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and work alongside interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs
  • Administer medications and treatments according to care plans
  • Assist with clinical tasks such as wound care and catheterization
  • Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and therapists to implement individualized care
  • Document patient progress and report condition changes
  • Support patient rehabilitation goals with consistent, compassionate care
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and facility standards

Requirements

Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited LPN program
  • Licensure/Certifications:
    • Active Maine LPN license
    • Current BLS certification
  • Experience: At least 1 year in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting
  • Technical Skills:
    • Medication administration
    • Wound care
    • Electronic Health Records (EHR) proficiency
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, empathy, teamwork, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
