Position Overview: Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor / Bilingual Spanish to fill an opening with a multi-specialty practice located in Queens, New York. This role focuses on providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health counseling services to patients in a?collaborative setting.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including clinical interviews, psychosocial histories, and mental status examinations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, diagnoses, and goals.
• Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy using evidence-based modalities appropriate for the patient population.
• Diagnose mental health disorders according to DSM-5 criteria and coordinate care with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, primary care physicians, and other providers within the multi-specialty practice.
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, coping strategies, treatment options, and community resources.
• Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely clinical documentation in electronic health records in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and provide crisis intervention when appropriate.
• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Stay current with best practices, continuing education requirements, and licensure renewal obligations.
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and New York State regulations.

• Education:?Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited program.
• Licensure:?Must have a New York State license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
• Experience:?New graduates are welcome to apply.
• Language:?Must be bilingual in Spanish.
• Technical Skills:?Proficient in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, MI, etc.), and maintaining electronic health records.
