Job Description

The Lead Solar Installer is an essential part of Green Power Energy's Field Operations team. As a Lead Installer, you will be working with the latest solar technology, building relationships with team members, and completing the installation of our products safely and on time. Green Power Energy's ideal candidate will already possess basic energy system construction, terminology, and concepts. This position is an hourly role that requires working outside in extreme environments, working at heights, and prolonged periods of repetitious duties including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

Lead your crew on daily job sites
Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
Supervise and train workers and crew members
Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
Supervise the use of equipment
Resolve problems when they arise

Requirements

Residential Solar Installation experience (2+ years preferred)
Roofing experience a plus
Electrical experience a plus
Valid Drivers License required
Proven experience as a solar foreman
In-depth knowledge of solar construction procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelines
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Ability to communicate and report effectively
Good physical condition and stamina
High school diploma or diploma in a skilled trade (electrician, carpenter etc.)
