Job Description

The Law Offices Of Samer Habbas & Associates, PC is looking for talented students currently enrolled in an accredited law school (minimum 2L) or a recent graduate waiting to be barred to join our team as a Law Clerk. The candidate will work closely with attorneys to manage case documents, conduct extensive legal research, and prepare documents and evidence for trial.

Responsibilities:

Assisting practicing attorneys with case management
Conducting research and discovery for assigned cases
Participating in the drafting of legal research and motions
Strictly adhere to ethical standards, including those concerning confidential communications

Requirements

Currently enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school or recent graduate
Law review, judicial extern/internships, TA position a plus
Strong research, oral, and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to discuss complex information in detail
Ability and willingness to take on a variety of new tasks in a fast-paced environment, and adapt and change the priority of tasks as needed
Previous law firm experience is a plus, but not required
