Landscape Small Vehicle and Equipment Mechanic

What we're seeking :

• Small engine repair knowledge for 2-cycle engines: grounds care, landscape, and snow and ice equipment.
• The proper methods of servicing landscaping equipment and the repair and adjustment of power mowing equipment.
• Ability to change oil, hydraulic, and all other necessary fluids in a variety of different vehicles and equipment.
• Knowledge of Toro commercial stand-on mowers
• Working knowledge of the general operation of gasoline, diesel, and electric-powered equipment.
• A tech-savvy individual, able to pick up new computer software.
• Knowledge of tire repair and maintenance.
• Mechanical and diagnostic ability
• Experience managing shop personnel
• Great communication skills

Requirements

• Maintain and repair vehicles, skid loaders, and other landscape equipment.
• Maintenance and repairs of our equipment, such as stand-on mowers and other landscape equipment.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and well-organized parts and inventory room.
• Perform monthly equipment preventative maintenance of skid and loaders.
• Lift/pull heavy objects of at least 50 lbs.
• Demonstrate independent action and resourcefulness on the job. Performs duties in an acceptable manner and with minimal supervision.
• Remain self-motivated and deliver work product that is detail-oriented and reflects company quality standards.
• Valid and current driver's license and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel to different offices, the company will pay mileage .
• Applicant must provide their own tools .
• DOT Medical Certification required
• MUST be authorized to work in the United States and have a valid Driver's License
