Job Description
Our Land Use and Environmental Group works on sophisticated, large-scale development matters involving high-profile public and private projects across California. The team is currently seeking associates with a minimum of 7 years of experience to join our offices in Los Angeles, Oakland, or San Diego.
Qualified candidates must have extensive land use and CEQA (California Environmental Quality Act) experience. The ideal candidate will have experience advising clients on complex land use entitlements, regulatory permitting, and environmental review processes. Land use litigation experience is preferred.
Key Qualifications:
- 7+ years of relevant legal experience
- Substantial knowledge of CEQA, planning and zoning laws, and California land use processes
- Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a collaborative team environment

The salary range for this California-based role is $250,000 - $340,000, and represents the firm?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate?s years of experience, qualifications, skill set and office location. Meyers Nave offers a reasonable billable hours requirement, annual discretionary and billable hours bonuses, competitive health insurance benefits, 401(k) with a partial match and profit-sharing.
