Laboratory Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the chemical industry, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the Research and Development department supporting product development teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: Maplewood, MN

Pay Range:

Up to $22 per hour for a 12 month contract

What's the Job?

Perform physical property and destructive testing of films and adhesives

Mix chemicals and coat experimental formulations on thin films to thicker substrates

Work closely with product developers, engineers, and teams

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Ability to work independently and take direction well

What's Needed?

Ability to follow procedures and methods and work well on a self-directed team

Good mechanical aptitude and skills as well as experience and specific training in inspection procedures and/or the product line

Experience in a lab or technical environment is preferred

Computer literate with good communication and time management skills

Associates degree or higher
