Job Description
Cozen O?Connor seeks an attorney with four to five years of experience to join the Labor & Employment Department in the New York office. The ideal candidate will have experience representing employers in federal and state courts, arbitration proceedings, and before government agencies. Traditional labor experience is a plus.
Preferred Experience Includes:
Advising employers on a wide range of employment law matters including:
- Discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims.
- Wage and hour compliance and disputes, including class and collective actions.
- Compliance with the FMLA, ADA, and other federal, state, and local leave laws.
- Breach of contract and whistleblower claims.
- Enforcement and defense of noncompete and non-solicitation agreements.
Must have excellent academic credentials, writing and oral advocacy skills. Active NY license in good standing required.
The salary range for this position is $220,000 - $265,000 and represents the Firm?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate?s relevant experience and qualifications.
