Direct Counsel is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate with 3+ years of experience to join the Labor and Employment Department at a top law firm in Los Angeles. The associate will focus on employment litigation, handling both single-plaintiff and class action matters, with an emphasis on wage and hour class action cases. In addition to a strong background in employment litigation, experience in employment law counseling and advisory work is essential. Traditional labor law experience is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Experience: At least 3 years in labor and employment law, with a focus on employment litigation.
• Specialized Skills: Required experience in wage and hour class action litigation.
• Advisory Skills: Proven experience in providing employment law advice and client counseling.
• Preferred Background: Experience in traditional labor law is advantageous.
• Education: Strong academic credentials.
• Licensing: Active admission to the State Bar of California.

Compensation:
The expected base compensation for this position ranges from $210,000 to $260,000, based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
