Position Details

Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours total)

Experience: Minimum 3 years of acute care hospital experience

Responsibilities

The Labor & Delivery RN provides safe, effective, and high-quality care to patients based on NorthBay's nursing practice model and Jean Watson's Theory of Caring. Key responsibilities include:

Assessing and planning patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

Delivering patient-focused, culturally competent care while acting as a patient advocate.

Monitoring patient progress and adjusting care plans as needed.

Using advanced communication and technical skills to support positive patient outcomes.

Adhering to all hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Requirements

Required Credentials

Valid California RN License

Current BLS and ACLS (must meet NorthBay compliance requirements)
