What You'll Do:

Respond to client inquires and concerns; ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering timely and quality service and follow up.

Create and assign work orders to multiple technicians, subcontractors and vendors.

Support problem solving.

Provide reports on open and closed work orders and check the status with the appropriate technician or vendor.

Maintain records including work orders, proposals, and department information.

Create vendor files and ensure accuracy of completed paperwork submitted.

Induct vendors on work order and billing procedures.

Process invoices and ensure accurate cost center coding.

Assist with the facility campus inspections.

Assist with process and procedure training.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Minimum of 2 two years of related experience and/or training.

Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and confidence to ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding.

Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor.

Ability to effectively present information to an internal department/ colleagues.

Comfortable meeting and engaging with new people.

Warm and engaging demeanor.

Basic analytical skills and understanding of financial terms and principles.

Capability of understanding and following general instructions and ability to solve problems.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word and Outlook.

Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders and the ability to lift and carry heavy loads of 40 lbs. or more.

Decision making ability with a general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve goals and deadlines.

Organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

The salary for the Junior Maintenance Technician position is $18.00 to $19.00 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate?s skills, qualifications, and experience.
