Java Backend Developer

Talent Worx is seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer to enhance our technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for building high-quality, innovative, and fully performing software in compliance with coding standards and technical design. Your expertise in Java and backend technologies will drive the development of scalable and efficient microservices to support the needs of our applications.

Requirements

• Develop and maintain high-quality backend services using Java and associated technologies.
• Create RESTful APIs and microservices to support frontend application needs.
• Participate in requirement analysis, design discussions, and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to backend processes and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Continuously improve code quality and application performance.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

• 3 to6 + years of experience with Java programming.
• Strong expertise in the Spring Boot framework.
• Experience in working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL , PostgreSQL ) and ORM solutions like Hibernate .
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.
• Understanding of server-side architecture and microservices.
• Proficient with version control tools, especially Git .
• Knowledge of Agile software development practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS , Azure ).
• Understanding of containerization technologies ( Docker , Kubernetes ).
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) tools.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like JUnit .
• Knowledge of messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka .

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
