Job Description


The IT Technical Analyst - Senior provides application or infrastructure technical expertise, analysis, and specifications for IT systems to meet business requirements in alignment with IT architecture policies and standards. The role involves translating requirements into technical specifications, creating detailed solution designs, coordinating construction, installation, configuration, and testing of IT systems, and troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Specifications:

Develop and manage technical specifications for creating applications, infrastructure, or complete solutions.

Solution Analysis:

Evaluate the technical fit and feasibility of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products versus custom-built solutions.

Solution Design:

Deliver high-level and detailed designs for applications, infrastructure, interfaces, conversions, extensions, reports, and workflows, ensuring adherence to performance, security, scalability, and maintainability requirements.

Collaboration:

Work closely with IT technical service providers and infrastructure teams to ensure work packages meet specifications in quality, schedule, cost, and performance.

Review and Validation:

Participate in design and code reviews to ensure alignment with specifications and coding standards.

Reusability:

Leverage reusable components to reduce costs and delivery time while promoting efficiency through automation in build and deploy processes.

Testing and Support:

Assist in test strategies, master test plans, and level 3 support for critical issues. Develop standards, procedures, guidelines, and runbooks for IT operations.

Continuous Improvement:

Analyze and revise existing systems and documentation to identify and implement improvements.

Data Modeling:

Creating and testing data models and scripts to meet technical and compliance requirements.

Performance Tuning:

Identifying and solving application, database, and hardware issues using industry standards.

Solution Configuration:

Configuring and testing COTS applications to align with business requirements.

Solution Design and Validation:

Designing solutions that meet buildability and compliance standards and validating changes or configurations.

Functional Fit Analysis:

Ensuring component interactions meet holistic business and technical needs.

Solution Modeling:

Creating models and documentation for solutions that meet governance and compliance requirements.

Core Competencies:

Customer focus, global perspective, and ability to manage complexity and conflict effectively.

Strong focus on optimizing work processes and continuous improvement.

Licenses and Certifications:

This position may require specific licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

Experience:

6?8 years of experience in Oracle EBS implementation or support projects.

Proven experience in Oracle EBS enhancements, including configurations, customizations, reports, interfaces, testing, and user training.

Proficiency in developing test scenarios, implementing system solutions, and leading system testing and issue resolution.

Hands-on experience with new-age technologies for UI and business solutions.

Proactive in functional delivery process improvements, such as documentation, automated testing, and innovative configuration methods.
