Job Summary:
The Law Office of Bryan Fagan is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Specialist, this is an on-site position located in Houston, Texas. This role will ensure the robustness, security, and efficiency of our
technology systems. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and
supporting the firm's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks,
and telecommunications. Your primary objective will be to ensure that our
technology aligns with the firm's operational goals and provides an uninterrupted,
secure, and efficient environment for our staff and clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems.
- Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Familiarity with legal-specific software (like Clio) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical staff.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar are beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users, assisting with hardware and software issues.
- Maintain and manage the firm's computer systems, including servers, workstations, printers, and other peripherals.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
- Install, configure, and upgrade software applications and operating systems.
