Job Description

The Los Angeles office of Alston & Bird is looking for team members to support its rapidly expanding Investment Funds team. A background in investment management and fund formation is required. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years' experience. Our dynamic, multi-disciplinary team is known for representing private equity funds, hedge funds, private credit funds, real estate funds, hybrid funds, and other types of funds employing alternative investment strategies. There is also an opportunity to learn and work on matters involving retail alternative funds, such as BDCs, interval funds, and closed-end funds. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and solid interpersonal skills, as this role involves direct client contact and business development acumen. This position offers a dynamic growth opportunity for a strategically important practice area within the firm.
