Internist/Family Medicine/Primary Care Physician- Bronx, NY (#2998)

Board Certified or Board Eligible

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking an Internist, Family Medicine or Primary Care Physician to fill an opening with a multi-specialty practice located in Bronx, New York.

Scheduleof theInternist/Family Medicine/Primary Care Physician:

This is a Full-time position
Can accommodate some abbreviation of weekly hours

Responsibilities of theInternist/Family Medicine/Primary Care Physician:

Manage and treat common health problems, such as infections, influenza and pneumonia, as well as serious, chronic, and complex illnesses, in adults and geriatrics.
Prescribe or administer medication of all types, with the compliant use of ISTOP/PMP where needed, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
Advise patients and community members concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
Recognize management efforts and engage using IT and EMR capabilities to achieve proficiency in daily appointment schedule
