Intern-Marketing

About the Role

The Marketing Intern will assist the Marketing Division with executing key seasonal initiatives. This position will gain exposure to multiple divisions within Marketing including Direct Marketing, Special Events, Loyalty Club, Advertising/Brand, Digital Marketing, Social Media, and PR. The role will also work cross-functionally with many departments across Ocean such as Entertainment, Hotel, Food & Beverage, Casino, IT and more.

Position Responsibilities

• Assist team with special projects
• Support new venue launches
• Serve as an ambassador of Ocean Rewards
• Provide support at onsite and offsite events
• Support Marketing with operational and support tasks as assigned

Essential Functions

• Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment.
• Must be able to move throughout the Casino/Hotel areas

Requirements

What's Required

• Excellent organizational andcustomer service skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Skills in any of the followingareas a plus: social media, copywriting, photography/videography,design/Adobe Creative Suite experience, website CMS/content entry
• Ability to effectively communicatein English
