Job Summary:

As an Insulation Cutter at Central Moloney, you will play a vital role in the manufacturing process by precisely cutting and shaping insulation materials for transformers and transformer components. Your attention to detail and technical skills will ensure the quality and integrity of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate cutting machinery and tools to cut and shape insulation materials according to engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Ensure precise measurements and cuts to meet quality standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Insulation cutters may work with materials such as paper, pressboard, Nomex, Mylar, and other types of insulating materials commonly used in transformer construction. Familiarity is a plus.
• Adhere to workplace safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by providing feedback and suggesting process enhancements.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Technical proficiency in operating cutting machinery and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Attention to detail to ensure precise cutting and shaping of insulation materials.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.
• Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
• Physical stamina, strength, and manual dexterity for lifting and operating equipment.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with colleagues.

Additional Information:

• This is a full-time position with competitive pay up to $17 -$21 per hour.
• Shift timing: Monday Friday, 3:30 pm 12 am,however, shift is subject to change per business needs.
• Some overtime and occasional weekends may be required pending business needs.
• Physical requirements may include lifting and operating machinery, long periods of standing, bending, and stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
