The Role
Key Responsibilities:
Strong skills in systems management and experience with implementation (Design, Implementation, Configuration, and Management) of products such as IBM Tivoli Monitoring and Extensive knowledge of IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler TWS version 8.5.1 and above
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Tivoli Work scheduler - version 8.5.1 and above
Command and GUI experience of TWS environment
Working experience of enterprise environment Tivoli Job and Job schedules
Knowledge and experience with Cloud Computing relating to Microsoft Azure
Minimum 5+ years' experience supporting Windows and Linux operating systems
5+ years of experience with implementation (Design, Implementation, Configuration, and Management) of IBM Tivoli Monitoring.
Batch scheduler and distributed batch scheduler knowledge
Must have excellent organizational and written / verbal communication skills
Who You Are
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Expert usage of conman and composer commands to assist with troubleshooting and to provide quality input for problem resolution.
Expert knowledge in troubleshooting failed jobs and file system full issues.
Works directly with new customers and project teams to ensure all Scheduling Best Practices and Policies and Procedures are understood and followed.
Able to work with and make recommendations to new applications wanting to use TWS.
Makes recommendations for improvements to Scheduling Administration Best Practices and policies and procedures.
Provides on call support for Tech Batch Scheduling Tivoli
