The Role

Responsibilities:

Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and system issues

Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of services Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to improve efficiency and reduce errors Conduct root cause analysis and implement fixes for infrastructure and system issues

Design and implement scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions

Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 infrastructure support

Develop and maintain documentation and runbooks for infrastructure and systems

Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

7+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, SRE, or a related field

Strong knowledge of infrastructure technologies (e.g., servers, storage, networking, cloud)

Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell)

Programming skills in languages like Python, Go, or C++ Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)

Strong knowledge in data modeling, database design and data management best practice

Ability to architect, design and implement infrastructure and platforms from a data and storage perspective

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Qualification: Degree /Master's Degree

Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, data integration and governance framework with one of the three cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Security, or a related field

Nice to Have:

Banking Industry - IT infrastructure architect/designing

Certification in SRE or a related field
