Job Description

National Star Services, a 27-year facility management company with nationwide operations, is hiring a skilled Industrial Mechanic/Technician to join a stable company in Chicago, IL 60612.

This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional who wants to grow his maintenance career and values safety, teamwork, as well as quality work.

Monday?Friday | 5:00 AM ? 1:30 PM (1st Shift)

What You'll Do

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical & electrical systems
Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment
Fabricate and repair components as needed
Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission systems
Complete work orders using computer systems
Maintain safety and quality standards
Collaborate with team members on technical issues
Be available for overtime and on-call coverage when needed

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
Strong mechanical & electrical troubleshooting skills
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding (Required)
Manufacturing maintenance experience required
Basic computer skills for work orders
Reliable transportation
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Ability to start ASAP
