Immigration Paralegal

Position Summary:

The Newark Office of Epstein Becker & Green, PC is looking for an Immigration Paralegal with 2-4 years of business immigration experience.

The ideal candidate must have a relevant bachelor?s degree and experience analyzing case documents for the preparation of various types of cases including non-immigrant (H-1B, L-1, TN, E2, E3, O-1), PERM, and immigration (EB1, EB2, EB-3, AOS) applications (e.g. H-1B, TN, E2, L, PERM, EB-1) with the appropriate government agencies.

Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys in drafting and filing immigration petitions and applications
• Manage case files and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information or documents.
• Review and analyze client documents.
  

Qualifications:

Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and must be highly responsive in communicating the progress of cases including status and issues to clients, as well as assigned attorneys. Successful candidate must also have experience in legal support roles and a strong understanding of immigration law procedures. Must be able to multi-task and produce a high quality work product in a fast paced environment with competing demands. Experience with INS Zoom and Excel is a plus.

The expected salary range for this position is $70,000 ? $85,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. The salary offered is based on a variety of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and Firm factors are also considered. In addition to the base salary, a generous employee benefits package including healthcare benefits is offered, and successful employees are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
