HVAC Controls Technician - Join a Market Leader in Building Automation!

Our client, a leader in the building automation and controls industry, is seeking a Controls Technician to join their team. As a Controls Technician, you will be part of the Technical Services department supporting commercial and industrial clients. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a detail-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: HVAC Controls Technician

Location: Plymouth, MN

Pay Range: $20-$45/hour (Based on experience)

What's the Job?

Perform system commissioning and configuration of building automation controls systems

Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls issues

Execute system diagnostics from controllers to end devices (sensors, actuators)

Maintain detailed documentation of system changes and complete required administrative tasks

Provide responsive technical support and warranty service to clients

What's Needed?

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Controls Technician

Demonstrated expertise in HVAC control systems and building automation

Proficiency with electronic test equipment and system calibration tools

Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation

Basic computer skills and ability to use hand/power tools
