ABOUT THE ROLE
As a CBRE Building Engineer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of multiple facilities in the Vancouver, WA area. You'll be responsible for:
Performing preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
Inspecting and troubleshooting building systems to ensure optimal performance.
Overseeing and coordinating the work of external contractors.
Managing energy systems to reduce operating costs.
Responding promptly to emergencies with professionalism and expertise.
This is a mobile role requiring daily travel within the Vancouver, WA area. Candidates must live within a designated radius of the job site to ensure reliable access.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
To excel in this role, you should bring:
Education: High school diploma or GED required. Trade school training is a plus.
Experience: Minimum 4 years of related experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or general maintenance.
Licenses & Certifications:
Universal CFC or EPA 608 certification preferred.
Refrigeration license and/or experience is a plus.
Possess necessary skills to functionally operate a "full size" van/truck
Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record with periodic checks
Skills:
Hands-on expertise with building systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. and work in various physical conditions (climbing, standing, etc.).
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Maintain: HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and General Maintenance systems.
Repair: Address emergency and preventive repairs to keep facilities running smoothly.
Inspect: Ensure compliance with regulations and client expectations for environmental and operational conditions.
Support: Provide technical guidance to team members and manage repair records.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate?s education, training and experience. The salary range is $38 - $40 per hour. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate?s skills, qualifications and experience.
