The Masonic Homes, an Independent Assisted Living facility, home to 80 residents on a 33 acres campus located in Covina, is looking for Housekeeper for a full-time position. Our natural scenic setting and family atmosphere make it a great place to work.

Essential Functions:

Maintain a clean and comfortable environment for staff, residents, and visitors to the Masonic Homes

• Polish furnishings and fixtures in apartments, living and recreational areas
• Sanitize bathroom fixtures, windows, and ledges
• Sweep, dust, mop and disinfect floors, walls, and stairways using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions
• Dispose of all trash into proper containers
• Receive, sort, fold, and stack clean linen and laundry
• Assist with setup and take down of equipment for company events
• Assure that all established safety rules/procedures are followed
• Work closely with supervisor to receive instruction and follow established procedures

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to communicate with residents and staff in a clear and professional manner
• Compassionate presence

Qualification

High School or equivalent
