Ace Handyman Services of Elgin is hiring an experienced, multi-skilled Home Service Craftsman!

We have tons of work to keep you busy year-round! Starting pay is $25 per hour, with the opportunity to increase up to $30 per hour based on performance after a 60-day probation period.

Requirements

What's most important to us is a strong work ethic, a professional appearance and demeanor, and a good overall knowledge of all tradesfrom Carpentry, Tiling, Painting, and Drywalling to light Plumbing and Electrical.

Specific qualifications for the role include:

• 10+ years of remodeling, handyman, or residential construction experience
• Ability to perform carpentry, tiling, drywall work, light plumbing & electrical, and door/window installation
• Must reside within 10miles of Elgin, IL
• Own set of standard hand and power tools
• Own work vehicle (truck or van) for the position with current insurance- we will pay you a trip surcharge for every job
• Comfortable with a pre-employment background check
