Museum of Ice Cream is looking for an eager and ambitious Guest Experience Specialist to join our fun-filled team. What You Will Do:

Your day-to-day will always be stimulating and ever-changing! You will have many opportunities to entertain, dance, and put smiles on people's faces. You must be capable of supercharging a group of strangers and create a magical museum experience for them. You will lead our busiest days and make a lasting impact on those who visit the Museum of Ice cream, weekends included.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Represent the Museum of Ice Cream brand with integrity and enthusiasm
  • Greeting and welcoming guests with high energy and enthusiasm consistently throughout the day
  • Sell all products and cafe items, achieving targets and goals when relevant
  • Providing excellent customer service through personalized guest assistance, including ushering and wayfinding
  • Become experts in each room and area of the museum by understanding the scripting of each experience
  • Achieve mastery and knowledge of products, treats, and basic business operating information
  • Set-up and close down assigned exhibits / rooms, including retail & cafe area per opening and closing checklists
  • Serve ice cream and other treats to guests while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
  • Cleaning, disinfecting, and organizing of spaces throughout the museum
  • Perform other duties not listed here hat may be assigned by leadership

Requirements

  • You are 18 years or older
  • Open availability, including weekends ( Please Note : This role often works nights, weekends, and/or holidays. You must have open availability on Sundays.)
  • Food Handler or ServeSafe certification preferred
  • 1+ years of previous customer service experience, in high volume establishments
  • Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time, up to 8 hours
  • Ability to lift heavy objects of up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to improvise under a multitude of circumstances
