Guardrail Installer/CDL Class A

TRP Construction Group is dedicated to enhancing travel and mobility while increasing road safety through precision and excellence. We are seeking a skilled Guardrail Installer with a valid CDL Class A license to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our operations, you will be responsible for the installation of guardrails on highways and roads, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our infrastructure projects. Candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, DOT Drug Screen, and motor vehicle record (MVR).

Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

Install various types of guardrails in compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

Drive CDL Class A vehicles to transport materials and equipment to job sites.

Operate heavy machinery and tools related to guardrail installation.

Perform inspections of equipment and materials before use, ensuring quality and safety.

Collaborate with team members to efficiently complete projects in a timely manner.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to all safety regulations.

• Highway maintenance experience

Qualifications:

Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.

Prior experience in guardrail installation or similar fields is preferred.

Ability to work in various weather conditions and on multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

Regularly lift and move heavy materials, often weighing up to 100 pounds.

Frequent exposure to outdoor weather, dust, fumes, and various terrains.

Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.

Availability:

Must be available to work nights and weekends as necessary.

Must be able to travel to various job sites throughout the state as required.

Must be willing and able to flag traffic, as necessary.
