About the Role:
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is recruiting a General Medical and Psychological Consultant to support the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DDDS). This role involves providing medical and psychological consultation, reviewing records, assessing impairment severity, and ensuring compliance with Social Security regulations to assist with disability determinations.

Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret medical/psychological records to assess impairment severity
• Provide expert guidance to DDDS adjudicators on disability determinations
• Ensure compliance with federal guidelines and DDDS protocols
• Attend quarterly consultant meetings to discuss process improvements
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely communication with staff

Requirements

Requirements:

• Education: MD, DO, PhD, PsyD, or equivalent degree in a relevant field
• Licensure: Active Washington State license, authorized to conduct business in WA
• Experience: 2+ years of post-graduate clinical training/experience; 5+ years of DDDS consultation experience (preferred)
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in medical/psychological record interpretation and Social Security regulations
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, communication, and collaboration abilities
• Additional Requirements: No exclusion from participation in federal healthcare programs
