Fund Accountant Intern

The UMB Registered Fund team , which manages the daily accounting, tax, audit, administration, and operational tasks for mutual fund and collective trust clients.

As the Fund Accounting Intern , you will be assigned a 4 to 5 registered funds and handle the day-to-day operations for those clients. This can include a number of reconciliations, security processing and valuations. This is a collaborative role that has daily deadlines, with all work being reviewed by a Sr. Lead in the department.

How you will spend your time:

• Cash Reconciliation between Fund Accounting and Custody for each individual mutual fund
• Tying reports together to make sure same cash amount is posted
• View daily reports that are emailed from clients
• Cash forecasting for client
• Work with external vendors such as Bloomberg

Compensation Range:

$28,340.00 - $54,380.00
