Requirements

Growi is looking for a Founding Engineer to join as the first engineering hire , a role critical to shaping the company's technological foundation. This is a unique opportunity to lead the end-to-end development of the product and define the engineering culture of the company from day one.

• You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and are excited to build from scratch .
• You are passionate about creating solutions for the creator economy and understand the unique challenges faced by influencers and their teams.
• You have experience in:
• Frontend development with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS .
• Backend development using Ruby on Rails API, Heroku, and PostgreSQL .
• You take pride in writing scalable, maintainable code and are meticulous about technical decisions.
• You are comfortable working independently, taking ownership of projects, and collaborating closely with a small, focused team.

• You're looking for a predefined playbook or a rigid role.
• You prefer working on incremental improvements over building something entirely new.
• You aren't interested in taking on diverse responsibilities in a startup environment.

• Full-Stack Development: Lead the development of Growi's platform, creating seamless user experiences and robust backend systems.
• Technical Leadership: Establish best practices for coding, architecture, and deployment to ensure scalability and maintainability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the founding team to translate product vision into reality.
